Match report Turgis 2s recorded a second win of the season with a solid performance against Crowthorne & Crown Wood. The victory was set up by a great bowling and fielding display. Wickets fell quickly from the off and at one point the Crows were 24 for 6; however, they eventually battled to 93 all out, Star bowlers were Ravi (3 for 6 off 7 overs) and Yakesh (with 4 for 15). The target should have been straightforward but the Turgis innings also started off in dramatic style with the home team slumping to 17 for 4. Luckily, calm was restored by skipper for the day, Ian Rogers, scoring 32 not out, Top scorer was Ravi with 38 not out, capping an excellent personal display. Up to 7th in the table with hopefully more wins to come.
