U11s continue their winning run against Alton
ST & HW U11s 301 –5 wickets beat Alton
220 – 10 wickets
Our fielding was excellent throughout, what I was most pleased
about was the encouragement, talking and energy in the field! It's the first
time I've really seen them playing this season so that was really good to see..
a real team effort and as Rob says that came across excellently with great
catches, run outs and backing up.
10 wickets was outstanding, Robin (2 wickets in 2 balls!) and
Barnaby were excellent, as was Josh who bowled straight and fast, as well as
Harvey and Arthur. Oliver bowled consistently and took a great wicket. Francis
was very straight, I think every ball was on the money. Good overs at the
begining from Alister as well
Both Josh and Jack were very solid behind the stumps, but I was
particularly impressed with Jack who stopped everything despite Harvey and
Arthur bowling at a good pace.
Batting wise.. a good start from Harvey and Arthur who put on 30+ Runs
from the opening pair.. very strong performances from Barnaby (3 fours in a
row!), Josh and Francis. Josh smashing the final ball for 6!!
