Match report Turgis 2s recorded a third win of the season in a low scoring game against West Reading. Asked to bat first, Turgis found it hard going. Only two players made double figures. Neil Girle hit a swashbuckling 11 but it was Yakesh who held the innings together with a patient 47. 103 shouldn't have been enough but, in the end, Yakesh's innings proved to be difference. West Reading also got off to a sticky start but recovered to 48 for 3 with some lusty blows. They then suffered a remarkable collapse as 5 wickets went down without a run being scored, eventually ending up well short on 53. Bowlers Ben Weller-Evans and Craig Strudley both claiming 5 wickets apiece. Well played boys!
