Match report Turgis 2s gave Purley a fright but ended up on the losing side. After being asked to bat, Turgis struggled to cope with Purley's youthful bowling attack. Ian Rogers did bat very well and carried his bat for 34. There was good support from Venki (32) but no-one else made double figures. 115 should not have been enough but Laure Figzal and Craig Strudley opening the bowling reduced Purley to 36 for 5 with 3 and 2 wickets respectively, Unfortunately that is where the fightback ended and a good stand saw the opposition home. Despite the loss it's great to have the 2nd team back and there are encouraging signs for the 2nds.
