Stratfield Turgis & Hartley Wespall Cricket Club 1st XI v Twyford & Ruscombe on Sat 18 Aug 2018 at 1pm
Stratfield Turgis & Hartley Wespall Cricket Club Lost

Match report A closely fought match between second and third in the table finished with a loss for STHWCC with the opposition 9 down.

It really did come down to the wire, but leaves promotion still in our own hands should we win the next two games.

Another top performance from Adam Brown, top scoring with 88 and a good knock from Abhishek Kumar Singh with 63 set up a competitive total.

Laurie Figzal was pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets. This, plus a wonderful Abhishek runout and a couple of other early wickets put Twyford on the back foot. A middle order partnership recovered their situation however and they were able sneak home with the one wicket left and 3 overs remaining.
