There will be less excuse for Stratfield Turgis & Hartley Wespall Cricket Club players to miss a close catch next season.  With the help of a grant from Loddon Valley Link, the club has purchased a slip catch cradle, which will bring a whole new dynamic to fielding practice - highlighting slip-catching and wicket keeping drills.

The cradle features eighteen traditional wooden laths, which are designed to provide unpredictable bounce - replicating match situations.
